Wow. "Someone" reported my lemon post.
According to CNN, a Johns Hopkins study suggests doctors errors are the third largest cause of death in the US. It's also no secret that Big Pharma is threatened by anything natural and readily available that can help fight disease.
After my pediatrician's response to my 6 month old's vaccine related seizures, I no longer put all my faith in doctors. Too many ulterior and selfish motives are there sometimes. Also, witnessing the effects of chemo and radiation on my loved ones inspires me to consider alternatives.
My grandmother died of colon cancer when she was only 2 years older than I am now. My aunt died of it last year. My Mom survived it. Insurance won't cover my colonoscopy until next year. (Guess what I'm getting for my birthday).
A loved one of mine has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. His doctor recommended taking 1 lemon and turmeric daily. Since it is a slow moving form of cancer, they can see if this tactic works before bringing out the big guns.
I do not currently have cancer, and I would like to prevent it if possible. Therefore, I am adding grated lemon to my water including washed rind and seeds.
After only two days, I noticed I no longer have arthritic pain in my thumb joints, which I have had constantly for about a year. Reducing inflammation and joint pain is listed as one of the benefits on my reported post. I'm excited about that and will update with my observations on this topic.
PS... you could put them in a pie or cake too. ;)
